Manufacturing and using Magnesium anodes is all about an engineering process. In Magnesium anodes, because of the effect of the alloy elements in the microstructure, there is an absolute need for spectrometric analysis and tight control in every metal bath. Chemical composition and microstructure are two important parameters that directly affect anode performance. We also have to measure impurities in every metal bath. To ensure good quality and chemical performance we have to use high quality pure primer ingots. “Anodes life time test” that specified in TSE can give very accurate results for the quality of anodes. Anodes that don’t produced according to TSE standarts is giving bad performance and can’t perform its task.
It is possible to manufacture Mg anodes in special dimensions. Different dimensions of water heaters, boilers and solar heater system’s make it mandatory to use different sized anodes. For these systems there are fasteners to make it easy to fasten mg anodes like m5, m6, m8, m10 or specially designed fasteners.
